Over the past few months, we’ve collaborated with the Little Green Energy Company and the brilliant Maria Soleil. Together, we've produced a captivating series of films that do more than talk about solar panels—they delve into the personal stories and motivations behind why individuals choose to invest in renewable energy.
Our latest release features Sarah Flynn, an inspiring coach passionate about sustainability. Like many others we've encountered, her story highlights diverse motivations for going solar—from financial benefits to leaving a better planet for future generations.
Each film is a unique journey across the country, meeting extraordinary people who share a common commitment to the environment, regardless of their professional backgrounds.
Each of the films is unique. We have travelled to different parts of the country, and each time, we met an incredible human being willing to take time off from work and their busy life to share with us the reason behind investing in solar panels. Every time, we were surprised by the nuances of these decisions. Some people do it because it makes financial sense, others do it for their children and grandchildren, and all people decide to make this investment because they think it's the right thing to do right here and now.
Each of their stories moved us, and we were struck by how meaningful it was to do what they did. Their investment aligned with their values and purpose. Only some people work in sustainability; most people do entirely different work. But all of them are very passionate about doing something for the environment and taking meaningful actions.
Whenever we meet people willing to offer themselves to the camera with courage and passion, we are always very moved because it's all about that connection.
The camera is there to capture that like a mirror.
